Recording your child's life |

Purpose and application
|
Many parents enjoy making albums of their child growing up. Select your favorite photographs, and import them into your PC. Lay the images out on a page, with text giving the date and other comments, and you will have a nice, original album. You can also use your computer to edit the photos. |

Necessities
|
A flatbed scanner such as the GT-5500 gives the best results for scanning images on photographic paper. Film scanners such as the Film Scan 200 must be used to scan in images directly from film. Letting your neighborhood photo shop put the images on a photo CD is also convenient. You will need photo editing software to touch up imported images. For the printout, you should use the EPSON Stylus Pro series or other standard home or business ink jet printer. |

Making it work
|
In order to obtain results that compare favorably with the original photographs, use the highest quality equipment for both scanning and printing. Use quality paper for the printout. |
